How to get your Instagram export
- Open Instagram → go to your profile → tap the menu (☰).
- Go to Accounts Center (or Settings → Account → Download your data).
- Choose Your information and permissions → Download your information.
- Select Download or transfer information → pick your Instagram account.
- Choose Customize information; under Connections check Followers and following.
- Set date range to All time and Format to JSON. Submit the request.
- Instagram emails you a link when the export is ready (can take minutes to days).
- Download the ZIP and drop it here — or unzip first and drop the folder.
